When things are in disarray you may feel out of control. You might forget important meetings, forget to send emails and lose documents on your cluttered desktop (not to mention lose respect of your valued clients). Eeek.
Here are 3 simple ways to organise your business today to gain control and ensure success.
Have a dedicated workspace:
Do you have an unused spare room or a place in your home for a desk? Having a dedicated space will help you stay organised as everything is in one spot. Plus if you work from home, you’ll feel like you’re “going to work” each day.
Get on top of your bookkeeping:
I use Xero for my business bookkeeping and it links up nicely with Dext for associated receipts. I love how everything is on one spot! Each week, set aside a day to “do your books” so you never fall behind. Get help if you need to stay motivated.
Automate your processes:
I like to automate things I do on a regular basis and my clients find it helpful too. Using programs like Later for scheduling social media posts ahead of time, Jotform for any forms or documents used on a daily basis and having email templates set up in Google gmail and ready to use at the drop of a hat.
